- Get a clear price breakdown — Ask the factory: “What is the FOB price and what is the DDP price?” Compare the difference.
- Use a trusted factory — Some factories add hidden fees. Work with factories you know or have good reviews.
When is DDP best?
- You are new to importing
- You want to avoid customs paperwork
- You ship less than one full container (LCL)
- Your local warehouse has no broker
When is DDP not good?
- You already have a very cheap freight contract
- You want to control every step of shipping
Part 4 — Amazon FBA Packaging (One Mat Per Box)
If you sell yoga mats on Amazon, one mat per box is common. But you need the right box.
