Forget the generic sales pitch. Here are the 10 questions I'd ask if my own money was on the line. This is the conversation that separates the pros from the pretenders.
1. "Forget the brochure. Tell me about your materials like we're having a beer. What's the real talk on each one?"
A mat's material is its personality. It's the difference between a mat people love and a mat that ends up in the back of a closet. Any factory worth your time can have an honest, no-BS conversation about this.
- PU + Rubber: This is the Lamborgini. Insanely grippy, especially when you're dripping sweat. It feels premium because it is.
- TPE Yoga Mats: The crowd-pleaser. It's eco-friendly and hits that sweet spot of cushion and grip.

2. "Walk me through what happens the day after I place my order. What does your production line actually look like?"
This isn't about you becoming a manufacturing expert. It's a transparency test. A good factory is proud of their process. A factory with something to hide will give you vague, jargon-filled answers.
3. "Let's talk money. What's your MOQ, and what do your price breaks *really* look like?"

OEM means you bring the design; ODM means you pick from their templates. You need to know how flexible they are.
5. "What happens when you find a bad mat? Describe your quality control process for me."
"We have excellent quality control" means nothing. You need to know their *system*. What happens when a worker sees a mat with a bubble?
6. "Show me the paperwork. Can I see your recent RoHS and BSCI audit reports?"
This is a dead-serious deal-breaker. RoHS proves the mat is free of nasty chemicals. BSCI proves they treat workers fairly. If they can't show this, walk away.
